Choose files above or drag them here. Your originals stay untouched.Three little steps
Add a batch or drag files into Smally. Choose Balanced for more detail, or Smaller when file size matters more.
See the size change and compare previews before saving. For detail-sensitive work, inspect the saved copy at full size.
Save into a folder you choose. Smally keeps your originals and never replaces an existing file.
Useful. With honest edges.
Smally checks each result before offering it. If a file cannot be made smaller within its checks, it keeps the original and tells you why.
No. Already-compressed files may stay as they are. Results depend on the file, format and quality setting. Lossy compression changes image data; compare important details before using the saved copy.
Smally handles supported PDFs and can reduce embedded images. The Smaller setting may downsample them for screens. Protected PDFs and documents with features it cannot preserve are skipped. It is not a general PDF editor.
Not yet. Animated images, high-bit-depth images, some color profiles and other unsupported variants are skipped. JPEG XL is not currently supported.
Smally is still in development. The Mac download will appear here when it is ready. No account, email address or payment is needed to explore this site.
